Keynote speaker - Haukur Ingi Jónasson

We welcome Haukur Ingi Jónasson as the fifth keynote speaker at NES2008

Haukur Ingi Jónasson has completed cand. theol. degree from the theological department at the University of Iceland, S.T.M., M.phil., og Ph.D. degrees from Union Theological Seminary (at Columbia University) as well as clinical training in pastoral counseling at Lennox Hill Hospital / The HealthCare Chapliancy Inc. and psychoanalytical training from the Harlem Family Institute in New York City.

Haukur has studied at the Indiana University School of Business and Hariot-Watts Edinburg Business School. He is currently a lecturer at the Industrial- and Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Iceland (leading lecturer in a new Master of Project Management Program), psychoanalyst in private practice and a management consultant at Nordica Consulting Group ehf. in Reykjavik. His consulting assignments have included clients such as Landsbankinn, SPRON bank, University of Iceland, B&L (Land Rover, Hyundai, BMW, Renault, Rolls Royce), The Icelandic Church Aid, Actavis, The Icelandic National Energy Authority, Reykjavik City, The Association of Social Workers in Iceland, The Federation of State and Municipal Emplyees, the University Hospital of Iceland, University of Iceland and other.

Research interest includes: Organizational Behavior and Development, Management and Project Management,  Industrial- and Organizational Psychology, Communication, Negotiation, Conflict Management, Group Dynamics, Human Growth and Development, Coaching, Higher Order Thinking (Critical / Creative / Ethical), Psychoanalytical and Depth Psychological Theories, Religion, Culture and Ethics.
