Ergonomics is a lifestyle
We are happy to welcome you and more than 200 others practioners and researchers from 20 different countries to the 40th Annual Conference of the Nordic Ergonomics Society.
We are looking forward to spend these three days discussing the latest ergonomical issues, learn about your results from researches and practice and discuss the future of Nordic Ergonomics. Your presentations are going to support us in designing healthy ergonomical lifestyle based on the knowledge from the different fields of Ergonomics.
Over 150 interesting papers were submitted within the different fields of Ergonomics. In six parallel sessions we will have over 120 promising oral presentations and 20 poster presentations. The president of the International Ergonomical Association among other five keynote speakers will inspire us with their presentations and the president of the British Ergonomics Society will summarize the conclusions of the conference in the Closing Ceremony.
We believe that at NES 2008 we will contribute valuable knowledge to the field of Ergonomics for the future. Your presentations will give us inspiration for further work in the field.
At NES 2008 we will distribute an abstract book with abstracts from keynote presentations, oral presentations and poster presentations, listed in the order of the sessions. Included in the book is a CD with version of full papers. A searching program is included in the CD, making it easier to find papers of interest.
We are looking forward to see you all at NES 2008. We hope your will enjoy your stay; the NES conference and this opportunity to experience Reykjavík and surroundings.
